The KM 604U HPX is a clamshell bucket using the HPXdrive Standard for handling and easy digging tasks. The open shells enable the handling of bulky materials. Open shell clamshell has a .39 cubic yard capacity. The bucket shells of the Kinshofer HPX Drive Standard are bolted to the square shafts and therefore it is very easy to replace them with another set of shells. Different types of shells for different applications can be fitted onto the HPX drive unit. Other shells include different sizes of the open side clamshell bucket, clamshell buckets, rock grapples, timber grapples and hay and forestry grapples. The interchangeable shells are delivered with an exchange aid that guarantees that the HPX Drive Standard can be positioned with ease.
